Iceland can boast of beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Featured here is a gallery of a fine autumn evening as seen from the hill of Oskjuhlid in Iceland's capital Reykjavik. The sun was reflected beautifully in the bay of Fossvogur and in the background there can be seen the ring of volcanic mountains which encircle Reykjavik. In summer Iceland has twenty-four hours of sunlight but in autumn, when this Iceland photo gallery was shot, the light of the sun was getting increasingly scarce.
